WHAT WE FOUND

  • 12%+ of our target persuadable voters were identified as cord cutters by data analytics
  • This meant our television ads weren’t reaching them, but neither would the opposition’s

We used advanced targeting online to ensure voters knew how Rep. Yoder was fighting on the issues most important to them, while simultaneously pulling back the curtain about our opponent’s corrupt past before national Democrats could prop up his image with their big spending. The message tying it all together? You can trust Rep. Yoder to fight for you and the opponent was (to put it lightly) dishonest.

We served 1,503,920 video impressions to cord-cutter voters without television subscriptions, allowing us greater parity between the amount of messaging reaching cord cutters and non-cord cutters – a gap most modern campaigns do not have the tools to close.


WHAT WE GOT

Despite Hillary Clinton carrying the district and the $2 million the DCCC spent against us, Rep. Yoder won with a comfortable 10% margin. The cord-cutter voters we were able to reach online— while the national Democrat’s television buy missed them—proved crucial, along with the targeted and tailored messaging online across the district.
